Opportunities to learn
I am very disheartened by what many of the liberals in our national government are doing to our country, and it makes me angry! I've witnessed this type of Keynesian financial policies before, and it does not work. I knew his actions were going to be bad but I sure did not think change was going to be a reversion to the Jimmy Carter years. Another aspect was seeing our President angry that the citizens did not just bow down and worship his very words, that was interesting to see. Perhaps he is just beginning to find out that it was the liberal media that elevated him to a godlike status, and that once people actually understood what he stands for, his popularity would plummet to a mere mortal state. The one good thing about our country's current situation is that we now have an opportunity to learn and grow from sustained hardships. This type of learning always leaves a lasting impression and it's usually a good thing for citizens to understand what it takes to recover from bad government.

I agree with you! I just wish I knew what to do about it. I have written Congressman Matheson several times, but he never cared what I think. He just continues to propogate the democrat agenda I think. I wish he would stand on his own two feet, but I guess that's asking too much. It is frustrating. I think we need to replace every last senator and congressman. I don't care if they have a D or an R behind their name, they all need to go. Then maybe we could get something done. Like your blog. Thanks!
I emailed both Matheson and Hatch, lo and behold I got a long email back from Senator Hatch detailing his stand and what he is looking to accomplish financially. I was impressed that I received a reply, and that he detailed it in such a manner was really impressive.
