This too shall pass

One of Abraham Lincoln's favorite sayings was "and this too shall pass". If you think about it for a couple of minutes you'll probably realize that he was correct. Everything in life passes, it is how we learn from our experiences that count the most. Win, lose, draw, none of it matters if we don't gain knowledge. Perhaps that is why we, as a nation, are going through what we are going through right now. You always have to experience the bad in life to truly appreciate the good.
